Comic Con Northeast 2024 - Get your tickets now!

After a successful first event in Newcastle last year which saw stars including Nick Frost, Sean Pertwee and Mara Wilson arrive for a weekend on the toon; Comic Con Northeast is back for a second year at the Utilita Arena this April!

On the 13th and 14th of April the Utilita Arena on Newcastle's quayside will play home to the Northeast's largest comic convention, hosted by Monopoly Events. Over the weekend fans of film, TV and pop culture alike will be able to attend free panels, browse a selection of independently run merchandise stalls, take photos with prop displays experience the cosplay masquerade and even enter into a cosplay competition to showcase their costume making skills. 

Of course the main draw of any comic con are the celebrity guests, where you can get your photo taken by a professional photographer or meet your chosen guest at their autograph table to get their signature. 

As of right now the guests announced for Comic Con Northeast are; John Barrowman (Torchwood), Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who), Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy), Jason Patric (The Lost Boys), Billy Wirth (The Lost Boys), Seth Gilliam (The Walking Dead), Craig Charles (Red Dwarf) and Emma Caulfield (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), with more announcements still to come!

Guests are always subject to cancellation for a number of factors including but not limited to illness and other work commitments (these guests are actors first and foremost); so always bare that in mind when booking. You will of course be refunded the cost of any pre-booked photos and autographs with a guest who cancels -but entry tickets are non-refundable.
