I'm Rebecca and I write everything you see here on The Northern Film Blog.
As suggested by the title of my website, I live in the North of England, Newcastle Upon Tyne to be specific and after studying film production at university I now work full time in a cinema and write reviews on the side as a hobby -for now.
It goes without saying really that as a film blogger, film is one of my most prominent hobbies. It’s very rare that a day goes by where I don’t watch, talk or write about film. It’s a part of day to day life and has been for as long as I can remember. I watch a film in the cinema at least twice a week and since having a place to share my thoughts, it’s given me a new purpose in my daily routine. Being less than six months old, it’s hard to say where The Northern Film Blog will be in a years time but what I want is for my website to be a reputable source for film reviews on whatever scale that is. Getting to that year anniversary at the end of March is step one though!
